Privacy policy

We collect what you type into our forms so we can quote, onboard, extend credit to, or recruit you. We count page visits without cookies and without storing your IP address. When you arrive from an ad, we keep the ad's click ID with any request you send, so we can tell which advertising works. Advertising measurement follows your cookie choice, and we honour Global Privacy Control.

Each form saves what you enter, plus the IP address and browser type (user agent) it was sent from, which we use to stop spam and abuse.

• Quote request (/quote). Your name, email, phone number and company; origin and destination (a ZIP code or city and state, never a street address); equipment, weight, pickup date, expected volume, tracking requirements and your notes; and shipment details such as the type of move, the rail ramp or port, import or export, and container details.
• Customer onboarding (/onboarding). Your role (shipper, broker, forwarder), name, email, phone number, company, the kind of business you are looking for, and the details you write.
• Credit application (/onboarding/credit). Your company's legal and trade name, address, EIN, years in business and annual freight spend; an accounts payable contact (name, email, phone) and payment method; a bank reference (bank name, contact and phone); trade references (company, contact, phone, monthly spend); the credit limit and terms requested; and the name and title of the person signing.
• Driver interest (/drivers). Your name, email, phone number, city and state, the kind of driving you are looking for, experience, equipment and notes.

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than a bot is submitting them.

Each form with a phone number also has an optional "Text me" switch, off unless you turn it on. We save whether you turned it on, when, and the exact wording you were shown. See Text messages below.

• To answer your request: price a load, set you up as a customer, review credit, or contact you about driving.
• To alert our team that it arrived, and to reply to you.
• To keep the business records a carrier needs for quotes, customers and credit.
• To prevent spam, abuse and fraud.
• To learn which pages and advertising bring in requests, as described below.

Your information is handled by the service providers that host this site and its database, deliver our email, and send internal alerts to our staff. They process it to run those services for us.

Our own visit counter runs on every page. It records the page, the referring site, a coarse device type, the country if our host supplies it, any campaign tags on the link, and a random ID that lasts only as long as the browser tab. It sets no cookie. Your IP address is combined with a salt that changes daily into a one-way hash and is never stored, so a visitor can be counted within a day but not followed across days.

When you click one of our ads, the ad platform adds a click ID to the link: Google Ads adds gclid, gbraid or wbraid, and Meta, TikTok, Microsoft and LinkedIn add their own. Links may also carry campaign tags (utm_ parameters). If you then send us a form, we save these with it, along with the first page you landed on, the site that referred you (without its query string) and when the click happened.

This normally lasts only as long as your browser tab. If you have allowed advertising, we also keep the click ID in your browser for up to 90 days from the click, so a request you send on a later visit is still matched to the ad. It is deleted from your browser as soon as advertising is switched off.

If you have allowed analytics, we also keep a note in your browser of how you first found us (the source, campaign tag, first page and referring site), so a request you send on a later visit records both how you first arrived and how you came back. It is deleted from your browser as soon as analytics is switched off. When you follow a link from this site to our driver application site, the same campaign tags and click IDs are passed along in the link, so the application records where it came from.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which ads lead to requests. When a quote request, customer setup or driver interest form is saved, the Google tag reports a conversion with the request's reference number and a relative value. A tap on our phone number, or a click through to our driver application site, may be reported the same way. We never send your name, company or lane to Google.

Only if you have allowed advertising, the conversion also carries your email address and phone number in hashed form: your browser turns each into a one-way SHA-256 code before anything is sent, and Google uses it only to match the request to your ad click (Google calls this enhanced conversions). Without that consent, no email or phone number is sent in any form.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you allow advertising, the Google tag runs with advertising storage denied: it sets no advertising cookies and sends Google only cookieless signals, including the ad click ID in the page address if you arrived from an ad, which Google uses to measure conversions. Once you allow advertising, it may set cookies to connect your ad click to your request.

We may also upload the outcome of a request to Google Ads, for example that it became a customer, matched by the ad click ID and time saved with it. This tells Google which clicks led to business. These uploads do not include your name, email or phone number.

If we enable Google Analytics or the Meta (Facebook) pixel, they follow the same cookie choices: analytics under the analytics category, and the Meta pixel only after you actively allow advertising. When the Meta pixel is on, a saved form is reported to Meta as a lead with its reference number and type, never your name, email or phone number.

If you check "Text me about my application" on our driver form, or give your mobile number when you create an account at apply.rajotransportation.com, RAJO Transportation LLC may text you about your driver application and onboarding: confirmations, missing documents, documents to sign and next steps. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Texting is never a condition of applying.

Our quote, customer setup and credit application forms have the same optional switch ("Text me updates about my quote", "...about my account setup", "...about this credit application"). If you turn it on, RAJO Transportation LLC may text you at the number you gave about that request, your account, your shipments or billing. The same terms apply: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help, and texting is never a condition of getting a quote, an account or credit. We keep a record of each choice - whether the switch was on, the wording shown, the number and the time.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data is used only to send you the messages described here.

Form submissions are kept as business records for as long as we need them to serve customers and drivers and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Visit counts hold no IP address. A click ID kept in your browser expires 90 days after the click, and your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it.

• Use Cookie preferences in the footer of any page, or the button at the top of this one, to switch analytics or advertising on or off at any time.
• We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends it, advertising is off unless you turn it on yourself in Cookie preferences.
• Clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser removes your stored choice and any saved click ID.
• To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email us at the address below. Some records, such as credit applications and records of loads, may have to be kept to meet legal or accounting obligations.
